DTN COMMENTS:   The country remains very quiet at midday, with early 
Southern asking prices starting out around $224 to $225, but they are not 
established in the North. Bids remain very elusive at this point, and 
significant trade volume will likely be delayed until Wednesday or later. 

Beef cutouts are mixed at midday (choice 349.57 +1.43, select 333.88 -
1.35) with light to moderate box movement (51.25 lds of choice cuts, 
14.76 lds of select cuts, 8.15 lds of trim, and 9.43 lds of ground). 
Cattle futures are mixed, mostly higher near the noon hour.
